Fun with Leaves
In one of the brief moments we had to chat to neighbouring stands at this year’s Festival of Quilts we met Sue Schofield of Springwood House Designs. She has just launched a new publication called Fun with Leaves and it is full of leaf templates that are just perfect for our New Autumn fabric collection – don’t you agree?
If you do indulge and create something leafy (maybe a Christmas wreath, if I dare mention it so early) do send us a picture.

Vote Victorian
We congratulated Karen Terrens for winning best in show in Sydney in June 2015 now we can actually vote for her to win the Victorian Craft Award. Her Sanderson’s Apprentice Quilt (made using Oakshott fabrics) is a finalist in this wide-ranging event: it had 116 finalists out of 450 entrants; is exhibiting in four venues across Melbourne, Australia; covers all crafts from jewellery to ceramics, fabric to glass.
